facebook??

I've set up my profile at facebook 1 month back.
The problem is that i am not receiving any friend requests, nor the people i have requested to be my friends, have anawered me back.
How do i make friends on facebook??
Please help!!

    write a letter and send it to ppls (random n friends) inbox- you could say a bit about yourself and that you are interested in making friends.
